How to Choose a Hotel in Las Vegas

Travelers from all over the world come to Las Vegas, Nevada to experience it in their own unique way! From gambling to getting hitched and everything in between is what makes Las Vegas a one of a kind city, where everything and anything is possible! However, when it comes time to choose your accommodations for your stay in Vegas, it can be quite overwhelming to choose from thousands of hotels that Las Vegas offers its visitors. Here are some suggestions on how to choose a hotel in Las Vegas.

1. Why are you visiting Las Vegas? Are you going to get married? Do you have work conference to attend? It is important to know the reason or reasons for bringing you to Las Vegas. This will help you pin point what type of amenities you may need from your hotel, where you would like your hotel to be located, and what you would like to have near your hotel (a wedding chapel for example, if you are planning to get married).

2. What area of Las Vegas would you like to stay in? If you would like to be in the middle of the action, in other words where the majority of the top-notch casinos and hotels are located, The Strip, is where you would want to look for hotel accommodations. The area off The Strip and Downtown Las Vegas are options as well. Most hotels provide shuttle service to The Strip so that you would be able to be in the action when you want.

3. Have an accommodation budget in mind to help you minimize the list of hotels to choose from.

4. For those like to shop, you may want to have a hotel that can provide this to you. Many hotels with casinos have many boutiques offering everything from jewelry to designer handbags. If you are a shopper, make it convenient for yourself and select a hotel, where you do not have to leave the complex to do your shopping!

5. Who are you traveling with? Is this a bachelor party, a honeymoon, or a family vacation? Keeping in mind the company you are traveling with will help you decide on which hotel will be best for those traveling with you. For example, if traveling with children, you may look at some hotels that offer amenities specifically geared towards children and teenagers.

6. Know how long you would like to visit Las Vegas for. Some hotels give you great rates if staying for more than a few days. Look for promotions being offered at the many hotels in Vegas, this may help you decide on a hotel based on they deal you may be able to receive.

Remember some of these suggestions and it can take a bit of the difficulty out of making a decision on where to stay in Las Vegas!
